Daniel & Rob
While our first meeting is lost to the sands of time, we both remember meeting one another early in our careers at Sydney University, as co-competitors in the 2008 Justice Michael Kirby Plain English Speaking Competition.
While the victor of that competition is lost to history*, the acquaintance survived. Later, our relationship was to survive Rob moving to England, and Daniel even further -to Tasmania.
Eventually we both came home to Sydney, and moved in together, to hone our debating skills on a full-time basis. Things have gone pretty well since then; it will be our tenth anniversary on 1 May 2020.
We are so thrilled that you will be joining us in Berry for our wedding, and we are grateful also to all the thousands of people who have fought so hard to make our marriage possible.
*It was Rob, despite Justice Kirby’s blistering dissent in Daniel’s favour.
